Nitin Rakesh is the current CEO and President of Syntel a global provider of digital transformation, information technology and knowledge process services to Global 2000 companies. Nitin was previously the President – Americas, Business Development, and Nearshoring Center at Syntel, Inc. He developed and led Syntel's Knowledge Process Outsourcing business from 2002 until 2008, playing a pivotal role in building it into a high performing service line. Nitin has held senior leadership roles at companies like Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company Ltd., State Street Syntel Services and TCG Group. MotilalOswal Asset Management Company was a new age money management firm specializing in exchange-traded funds (ETF) and Separate accounts. Under Nitin's leadership the company won awards for Innovation in Asset Management and ETF business in India and Asia Pacific, including the "Most Innovative ETF, Asia Pacific" at the 2011 ETF Awards in New York, and the "Most Innovative Mutual Fund, India" in 2010 at the Crisil - S&P Mutual Fund Awards. Nitin was also associated with Unit Trust of India in his early career, and was involved in setting up of offshore mutual funds and secondary Market Research Cell, Product Development and Risk Management. Under Nitin's leadership Syntel has been outperforming its peers and introduced several new initiatives including a new digital enterprise service line. and it is projected that the company will surpass $1 billion in revenue in 2015 for the first time. Nitin received an MBA in Finance from NMIMS, Mumbai and a B.E. in Computers from Delhi College of Engineering.
